Planning Tips
- You will need 100-250 sq. ft. per person (25 people will need a minimum of 5000 sq. ft.).
- Aisles need to be a minimum of 36” for companies with less than 50 employees and 44” for companies with 50 employees or more. Check your local codes.
- All exit doors must be a minimum of 36” wide and swing in the direction of egress.
- You will need to know the electrical code requirements of your particular city or town.
- It can be helpful to include employees in the preliminary planning of your space. Those who use the space often have constructive ideas. Final decisions should be in the hands of a few.
