Chicago history meets the future with this renovation. This historic Chicago firehouse now serves as the corporate headquarters and multi-use space for TURF. What once was a garage, is now an open office and lobby. Many of the original materials were preserved to respect the structure’s historical integrity and character, including the bricks, subway tiles, flooring, spiral staircase, and even a fire pole! The space features a design lab, offices, colorful TURF acoustic installations, a residential apartment, and an employee lounge.

This historic renovation and interior design was awarded the Crain’s Chicago Business 2019 Coolest Office.
